Laird takes the lead at Las Vegas

LAS in defending champion Martin Laird shot a bogey-free 8-under 63 eagling short par-4 15 and end with three couples take a one-stroke lead Jonathan Byrd on Saturday in the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for children Open.

Administaff Small Business Classic: At The Woodlands, Texas, United States Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin a 4-under 68 to maintain a one-stroke lead in the Champions Tour Administaff Small Business Classic.

Pavin had a 10-under 134 total at the Woodlands Country Club course.

Mark Wiebe (68) finished second, and the history of the University of Houston star Fred Couples (65) was 8. Couple had eight birdies and a bogey in his tournament-best round.

Castello Masters: in Castellon, Spain, England's Gary Boyd Matched Club de Campo del Mediterraneo record with 9-under 63 to take a two-stroke lead in Castello Masters.

Boyd had a 14-199 total. Italian Matteo Manassero (67) and Swedish Christian Nilsson (66) was bound by the other; England John Parry shot a 63, leaving him five strokes back.
